Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight Flight

Board your overnight flight, bound for Rome: home of democracy, the twelve-month calendar, and the newspaper. So that’s how the font Times New Roman came to be!

Day 2: Arrive in Rome

Welcome to Rome! Your adventure begins in the Eternal City, where enchanting architecture, fascinating history and a foodie paradise are waiting.

In the evening, it’s time for our Welcome Mixer. Enjoy appetizers and drinks with fellow travelers at an authentic local spot. Afterwards, take the party elsewhere.

Day 3: Explore Rome

Skip the line and go back in time with a tour of the Colosseum. Then, do as the Romans do and learn how to make authentic pasta by hand.

Day 4: Vatican City

Peace be with you as you stroll the home of the Pope and capital of Catholicism: Vatican City.

Day 6: Tour Florence

Join a local guide for a walking tour of Florence, the compact capital of Tuscany known for its famous Renaissance artwork.

  • Travel by coach for a day trip to Florence
  • Cross the Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in Florence, home to many of Florence’s jewelers and art merchants.
  • Stroll the Piazza della Signoria, home to the Uffizi Gallery and Michelangelo’s David
  • Visit the Duomo Cathedral. Return during your free time and challenge yourself to climb the 463 steps to the top for stunning views of the city

Day 7: Free Day in Tuscany Region

Enjoy a full free day in Italian paradise. With medieval architecture, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the food and wine of Tuscany at your fingertips, the options are virtually endless.

Italian Riviera & Cinque Terre(extra cost)

Wake up and head for the coast on your way to Cinque Terre (Italian for “Five Lands”). There you’ll find yourself looking at some of the most beautiful coastal scenery you’ve ever laid eyes on. Discover villages nestled into the sides of mountains as you travel by train between them. Your fist stop is Riomaggio, home to the famous Via dell’Amore, or “path of love.” Next up is Vernazza, where you’ll get some of the iconic views of the colorful seaside buildings that Cinque Terre is known for. Then, spend the rest of your day enjoying the pebble beaches of Monterosso before heading back to Florence. Note: this excursion is available on trips departing between May 1 and September 30.

Day 8: Travel to Venice Region

Next stop: the Venice Region of Italy! Situated on 118 islands, intersected by 175 canals and spanned by more than 400 bridges, this city has had more praise showered upon it from travelers, writers and artists than any other city in the world. Threatened by rising tides, you're going at the perfect moment.

Day 9: Tour Venice

Head to St. Mark’s Square to begin your sightseeing with a local guide.

  • Follow the winding Grand Canal through the heart of Venice

Day 10: Travel to Lucerne, Switzerland

All aboard for a scenic bus ride through the European countryside! Watch as rolling hills give way to majestic, snow-capped Alps. You're headed to Switzerland.

  • Sit back and relax as you take in some of Europe's most dreamlike landscapes
  • Arrive in the Lucerne region and check in to your accommodation

In the evening, go out for a laid-back night with fellow travelers, or simply enjoy the serenity of this alpine retreat.

Louis Bar: Ride a funicular to the lobby of this “art deco” hotel, classier than Sir Ian McKellen sipping fine bourbon whilst reading leather-bound literature.

Day 11: Picture-Perfect Switzerland

Day 12: Travel to Munich + Neuschwanstein Castle

Germany awaits! From fairytale castles to one of the richest beer cultures in Europe, Munich has something for everyone.

Day 21: Arrive in London

It's time to head to London on your early morning flight. Then, you're off, experiencing London’s most iconic sites with a local guide for a walking and bus tour of the city.

Day 27: Travel to Barcelona

Catch your morning flight to Barcelona, a city of endless parties, wacky architecture and premium beaches.

Day 29: Free Day in Barcelona + Farewell Dinner

The day is yours to experience the best of Barcelona. In the evening, share one last memory with your group in the included, three-course Farewell Dinner.

Market Down: Visit La Boqueria, the famous market just off of Las Ramblas, with everything from fresh fruits to meats, flowers and sweets.
Playa Long: Barcelona’s coast is lined with beaches, each with its own personality. Try party-centric Barceloneta, tranquil Caldetes or water sports at Mar Bella.
Comer Little Closer: From paella, a traditional rice dish, to Basque-style tapas, Barcelona has gastronomy locked down.

Day 30: Fly Home

¡Adiós, amigos!
Translation: Goodbye, friends. Your next destination awaits—home. Before you head to the airport, enjoy your last few moments together. Take one more group photo. Grab that final drink. (Fine, maybe a couple of drinks.) But this isn’t goodbye. It’s “See you later.” The only question is, where?
