Day 1: Fly to Mexico City + Welcome Dinner

Board your flight to Mexico City, the capital of Mexico and the largest city in North America by population (l8r, NYC).

  • Transfer to your hotel to check in and check out your room.

Day 2: Explore Mexico City

¡Bienvenidos a la Ciudad de México! It’s a big place, with lots to see, so put on those comfy walking shoes and go seize the day. And don’t forget to hydrate—you’re at an elevation of 7,350 ft.

  • Explore the city with your expert Tour Director.
  • Discover Centro Histórico's treasures: Zocalo square and Palacio de Bellas Artes.
  • Marvel at Casa de Los Azulejos, a stunning 18th century palace.
  • Wrap up in lively Colonial Roma for lunch on your own, followed by free time.
Free time suggestions

Angel of Independence: This prominent column was built as a symbol of freedom and victory during Mexico’s struggle for independence from Spain. You can see it anytime, but it’s beautifully lit up at night.

National Palace: Located in the city’s main square, this historic site is the current residence of Mexico’s president. You can tour parts of the building and admire murals by Diego Rivera.
