Free Time Suggestions
The Anne Frank House: Take a little time on your own to see the very same house and annex, now a museum, that sheltered her and her brave family during the Holocaust. Heads up, tickets for this must be purchased a couple of months in advance, so plan ahead!
Dutch Bros: Admire art from the famed Dutch Masters like Rembrandt at the Rijksmuseum. You thought this was a coffee shop suggestion, didn't you?
Day 5: Travel to Paris
Train to Paris
Head to Paris! The French capital is visited by more than 30 million people a year, drawn by the famous monuments, great food, and some of the world’s best art museums. Paris is comprised of 20 districts, or arrondissements, so there’s plenty of diversity and personality to discover.

Free Time Suggestions
Edit Sober: Visit the cafe haunts of literary giants like Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce and many others.
Fall in Louvre: Paris is home to some of the world’s most incredible art collections. Head to The Louvre and Musee d’Orsay. The Louvre displays art from before the 18th century, and houses the Mona Lisa herself. The Orsay is your place for modern art.
Latin Quarter: Around the Sorbonne, the bars and clubs here are open late and frequented by locals and travelers alike.
Spend the afternoon at the over-the-top palace of Louis XIV. Not far from Paris, this is where French royalty reveled in their extravagant lifestyle in the decades before the Revolution. At one point, a thousand nobles were attended by 4,000 servants inside the palace, while 15,000 soldiers and servants lived in the annexes. Walk through the landscaped gardens, tour the State Apartments of the King and the Queen, and see the Hall of Mirrors.
Please note: This excursion must be booked at least 45 days prior to tour departure.
Day 7: Free Time in Paris
Free Day in Paris
Today is yours to explore! Paris is immense, yet intimate. While it can be overwhelming at first, there’s a bounty of hidden gems around every corner.
Free Time Suggestions
Go Subterranean: The Paris catacombs are dark, underground crypts where the city’s dead have been buried for centuries.
Bon Appétit: French food is some of the finest in the world. Demanding customers, meticulous preparation and the freshest ingredients combine for an unparalleled culinary experience. Parisians eat dinner late between 8 and 10pm, so plan accordingly.
C’est Magnifique!: Head to Montmartre, a neighborhood filled with street art, incredible views overlooking the city and the famous Sacré Cœur Cathedral. This is the perfect place to take a stroll, grab lunch and admire a more authentic side of Paris.
Day 8: Eurostar Train to London + Sightseeing Tour of London
Ride a high-speed train under the English Channel to London. What can you say about London? It’s huge, it’s multi-cultural, and it’s brimming with famous sights, fun pubs, great music venues and endless things to do.

Day 9: New Year's Eve Celebration in London + Optional London Eye & River Cruise
Take the day to explore. Walk through some of the many royal gardens, shop on Oxford Street, go for high tea, or explore the city by foot. At 607 square miles, the city is an easy place to get your 10,000 steps in.
- Walk the cobblestone streets of London.
- Explore Piccadilly Circus. You won’t find clowns and trapeze artists here. Just shopping and all the entertainment your heart desires.
- Sip on a cup of English Breakfast at high tea—don’t forget, pinky’s up!
- Join forces with other Ultimate Break groups in the area, and count down to New Year's in style—with dinner, drinks, and a toast at midnight—in a private venue. Stay late, or head out on the town for more fun and fireworks.
London Eye & River Cruise(extra cost)
If you’re going to see London, see it properly: from air and sea. Fly high on the London Eye: Europe’s tallest Ferris wheel, providing panoramic views of all the iconic landmarks, including The Shard, The Gherkin & The Banana (okay, maybe we made that last one up). Afterwards, sail down the River Thames with tea & crumpets. Take in the local flavours & colours, and realize that you love London so much you’ve started spelling words the British way.
Why wait? Save money by booking this optional excursion before your trip departs.
Day 10: Farewell Dinner
Share some last laughs (and maybe shed a few tears) at an included farewell dinner with the group.
Day 11: Fly Home
Your next destination awaits—home. Before you head to the airport, enjoy your last few moments together. Take one more group photo. Grab that final drink. (Fine, maybe a couple of drinks.) But this isn’t goodbye. It’s, “See you later.” The only question is, where?
